My Biography
With 30 years of experience as a network level DP lighting cameraman, video and audio journalist. Expertise ranges from International documentary, News, And Promotion camera and production work, to multiple cameras live remote sports and news special event coverage for domestic and international Broadcast outlets. Extensive production engineering experience in remote and studio design, Construction and implementation routinely under intense deadline pressure. Mission critical troubleshooting and field repair of electronics and Distribution components is a specialty honed over repeated deployments

Original training by the US Army as an Engineer. And worked with US Government Agency’s as, International Broadcast Bureau, Office of Cuba Broadcasting, and Voice of America. Pete Rodriguez holds a Degree in Music and Video Business. And has developed over countless network assignments into fluency with a wide range of cameras, tape formats, disk based acquisition, signals routing, audio/video distribution, editing, communications, voice/video by IP and satellite transmission.
Requested for breaking news and special assignments and events in the world hotspots and war zones, celebrity scandals and news magazines by clients including ABC Network, ABC News (Silver Angel Award for “Crisis in Haiti” with Peter Jennings), ABC Sports, ARI Network, (Italy Television) Associated Press Television Network, BBC, CBS Network, CBS News (60 Minutes, Specials), CBS Sports, NBC (Dateline, Political Specials), MSNBC, CNBC, NBC Sports, ESPN (Special Projects and Features), PBS and dozens of their affiliates around the world.
Assignments, especially out of town and overseas, often require more than one specialty. Excellent DP camera work, Lighting and sound recording is a given when hiring a photographer, but getting a broadcast engineer, systems designer, integrator, and Satellite engineer at the same time is a bonus.

Single and Multiple Camera Production (ENG-EFP) Both in SD to HD Formats. Lighting and Sound recording Operators. Satellite Trucks (KU – C Band) Throughout Florida and Satellite Fly-away systems (KU-C Band) Throughout the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Studio Facilities:
With fiber up & downlink Hub to satellite services. Offering, (Vyvx) Fiber around the world. And, (AldeaVision) Fiber to South and Central America. Transmission with connections in SDI & HDSDI (4:2:2 & 4:2:0). And Analog as well. The signals will originate from fiber at our facility. And would uplink it to any satellite you may need.
Based in Miami, Florida with easy access to domestic and international travel hubs.
